Birchbox will now be sold at Walgreens stores. The retail chain now owns a minority stake in the digital beauty subscription company.

Walgreens stores will feature Birchbox shops, as well as a ‘Build Your Own Birchbox’ counter in its stores. The pilot program will begin in December and roll out through early 2019 to 11 Walgreens stores across Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis and New York City.

The Birchbox Shops will feature full-size products from 40 new hair, skincare, and makeup brands, mainly Indies — not traditionally found in the mass market. Participating brands include RMS Beauty, Embryolisse, Wander Beauty and Sand & Sky.

The “Build Your Own Birchbox” counter will include samples from additional Birchbox brand partners, including Amika and Winky Lux, WWD reports.

Birchbox will also add a Walgreens section to its website.
